Respiratory System
The function of the respiratory system is to move air into/out of the lungs (ventilation), to provide external respiration, to transport gas in blood, and to provide internal respiration. The respiratory system is also able to filter incoming air, entrap particles, control temperature of air, control water content of air, and to produce vocal sounds.
